Wings for Life Ball case study
Think
The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Central Operations) briefed us on their annual Wings For Life Ball. This year, Kate Ceberano was the headline act. With her current popularity due to Dancing With The Stars and It Takes Two, the RFDS was looking to capitalise on the current public interest. DBWC started working with Kate's image and a cabaret look to tie things together and promote a quality, intimate evening.
Create
Several concepts were presented to the client with our preferred recommendation. We created a style that showed the class of the event but primarily focused on Kate Ceberano and what sort of image she would project for the event. As with all jobs, estimates were produced and recommendations made as to stocks and sizes of printed items, in order to maximise the impact in a crowded market.
Produce
A2 posters, invitations, tickets and TV screens were produced all 'pro bono' by DBWC, and not only was the client thrilled with the end result, but sales climbed well past expectations and a sold out event (over 900 people) was delivered and enjoyed by all in attendance.
